Introduction
The Cheshire County League Umpires & Scorers Association is to continue its system of grading in 2008. For this to be fully implemented it is important that match assessment cards are regularly completed by the captains. Pre-printed cards have been distributed to all clubs and these should be posted to the Assessments Secretary Ken Spilsbury to be received within 72 hours of the end of each League championship (not cup) match, otherwise a fine of fifteen pounds will be imposed.
Objectives of the Association
The objectives of the Cheshire County League Umpires & Scorers Association is to: -
- Assist the membership in providing and maintaining a high standard of umpiring and scoring.
- Foster a spirit of comradeship and co-operation between Umpires and Scorers.
- Promote an organisation to provide umpires for Cheshire County League fixtures and representative and other matches as may be agreed.
- Co-operate with the League in all matters relating to the Laws of Cricket.
